I used to be hospitalized for asthma for 7-12 days and he refused to prescribe the inhalator device considering my asthma mild. Another doctor prescribed the device and later I was submitted to thermoplasty with great results.

Dr Higuchi is always caring and takes time with you. There are two of us in my family that see him for asthma type stuff. We have benefitted from his care. I would recommend him if you need a respiratory medicine specialist.

My mother was Dr. Higuchi's patient about 10 years ago. She was dying, and had been moved to a minor care hospital in which Dr. Higuchi had an ownership position. She wanted to go home. No medicine could cure her. Dr. Higuchi refused to release her. I had to fight him tooth and nail to get her released. He finally signed a release "against advice of the doctor".
