Never again. Dr. K, the owner and doctor showed up 20 minutes late to the appointment. Provided me with the wrong information about my own dog. Gave the wrong information about the service I was there for. Showed zero professionalism when doing a 3 minute ultrasound on my dog. Made no attempt to do his job correctly. Rushed me out within the 10 minutes he spent with me and my dog. If you’re looking for a reliable vet, this one sure is not it. Extremely poor service and no accountability.

RecommendedI have been a client at Hwy 5 Animal Hospital for going on 5 years now. I first took my 3 dogs over there in early 2016 when I moved to the area. Unfortunately, cancer took my Boo unexpectedly in June 2016. My other 2 passed away at 14 yrs and 17.5 yrs, respectively. Dr. Kay always takes great care of us. He is caring, compassionate, and straightforward with his recommendations for treatment. Came here to get a flea pill and the staff didn’t even acknowledge my presence. The receptionist played with the buttons on her sweater and answered multiple phone calls without saying ANYTHING to me. The other staff member was occupied with another customer so I understood that she was busy, but nobody could even say “we’ll be right with you”?
We walked in with our sick puppy and didn’t have much of a wait at all! The staff was all SO Kind and Dr. Kay is AMAZING! He was straight forward while being caring and providing what would be best to help our Rex! There aren’t enough words for how great and sincere Dr. Kay & his staff was! We knew he was in good hands! HIGHLY Recommend and we will be back!
Dr. Kay was amazing this morning for our Winstons first ever vet visit!!!! He answered all of our questions, answered specific questions relevant to our breed and gave great details on what to expect for our future visits!! We highly recommend him!!! ❤️❤️
