I’m so glad to find out that they brought Melissa in as I have been following her for several years. She is a fantastic stylist. No one trims my beard quite like her. She is incredibly detailed oriented and takes pride in her craft. She is always good for conversation as well. I have been able to meet Deb and her awesome dog as well and she creates a very welcoming environment. I’m glad that these types of local businesses still exist where quality work is more valued than just numbers. Quality over quantity as they say.
I very seldom write reviews but I need to here. I've been going to Highwave Hair and Debbie since 1988. She is an Essex institution. The hair styling for both men and women is outstanding but there is something else. A business that will fit you in if you have a sudden business trip or one more in celebration that needs styling, people that know your kids and grandkids, and always a haircut or styling where your friends will say wow that's great. I had an amazing wash, cut, and blow dry at High-wave salon by Shelly! The owner And staff at high-wave salon are incredibly talented and welcoming. My hair has never felt/looked better, if you want a fantastic experience at a salon, definitely go here Ladies and gents because the service/outcome is absolutely spectacular!
Got an excellent haircut yesterday at Highwave 💖, my hair is thick ,curly course and unruly , Debbie takes her time, listens and works with you to tweak or update your look, she’s truly a professional and an artist. I left today with my hair looking beyond fabulous and my spirits refreshed and uplifted. I’ve been coming to Highwave for years , and I always look forward to how hairmazing I look and feel afterwards!!
Melissa was awesome and this might be the best haircut I ever got. She's a talker but made the haircut go by fast. Lol. She might be the best stylist around. Made this 53yr old look hot! ❤️
