came to Hilite Nail Studio to have my acrylic nails removed, and I left with one of my real nails broken in half and bleeding. Instead of safely soaking off the acrylics, the technician initially tried to force another acrylic tip underneath to remove it—an aggressive and unsafe method. I immediately felt pain, and one of my fingers started bleeding heavily. Only after I spoke up did he switch to a safer removal technique. My friend and I visited this salon yesterday and had a very disappointing experience. We were really looking forward to it because of the great reviews and the amazing job they did on my friend’s nails during her last visit. But this time, the service felt rushed and unprofessional. My nails and fingers actually started to burn during the appointment, and my friend was treated poorly for simply asking them to use the correct colour from her inspo photo.
