Beautiful, peaceful and comfortable retreat among the redwoods with caring and accommodating staff. It is an inclusive space that welcomes all open minded adults regardless of identity. I look forward to returning again and again.

Beautifully renovated motel situated on a tranquil property with stunning gardens. Every detail is thoughtfully curated — even the grand piano and guitar in the lobby were tuned and begging to be played. The bed, pillows, and linens in the tent were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in my 40 years. It’s a bit pricey, but if you really take advantage of everything the property has to offer, it’s worth it.

Had a great 4-night stay here while traveling with friends. The setting is stunning- redwoods, blooming flowers, etc. The whole place has a welcoming, relaxed vibe. The staff were amazing. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast each morning was delicious, with homemade breads being a highlight. The location is ideal. I was excited to visit because I’d heard this was a queer-friendly space, and we were specifically hoping for a calm, adults-only environment with no children and no dogs allowed. That was part of the expectation we had going in. The crowd was overwhelmingly straight, despite the venue’s reputation. My partner and I also had an uncomfortable interaction where an older lesbian that worked there repeatedly referred to us as “ladies,” even though our pronouns and identities were not acknowledged.
