Dr. Allen is great!!! He talks you through whatever he is going to do and he has always been there when someone in the family has an issue. I highly recommend him.
I saw Dr. Saavedra last October for a swollen toe. He looked at it a couple minutes and didn't take the time to test for infection. He promised me there was no infection, that it was a just stubbed toe, the nail would fall off, and it will get better on its own. He made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. I went to a dermatologist a month later for something else and thought I would show him my toe. They took a sample of my toenail and found out I had a fungal infection. It had spread to 3 other toes. I was referred there for foot pain that made it difficult for me to move around. The doctor made no attempt to simplify what his medical opinion on what was wrong with my foot. Tried to conviene me to by a specialty $300. I went to a family doctor instead because I had no confidence that the doctor was competent. Turns out my issue with my foot was easily diagnosed by my family doctor. Was easily treated by freezing a water bottle and rolling it around under my foot for a few days.
