Apparently they are still marketing the pool "coming soon" but people that have lived her 3-5 years plus have heard it over and over and the timeline/requirements for the pool keep changing.One of the reasons we moved here and if I had known them what I know now I would NOT have moved here. Quality of the houses isn't the best either and response from builder isn't great.There are too many other properties with better quality for the price and that already have pools.I would pass.
Although the location is ideal, especially if you have school aged children, we aren't too impressed with the workmanship of our home or the empty promises of a pool and walking trails.This is our 3rd summer here and we have been told multiple stories about when the pool would be coming from Fall of '08 to when 40 houses sold then 50 homes then 60 and rising, although the buildr/developer have collected HOA dues each year from each resident for the past several years.There isn't upkeep on the green spaces as there should be.... read more
I would recommend living here to anyone. The people are very nice and friendly and even though the developer has not built a pool or taken care of the surrounding areas, we still love it here. Eventually it will all work out but I love our house and I know the builder personally and he does a great thorough job and makes sure that all of his customers are happy and satisfied. The Neighborhood is a very nice and pleassnt almost rural area. The "WAITING" person needs to call the police or sheriff about any 4 wheelers. Also the developers will cut the grass in the undeveloped area if you call them. But if someone has snakes or infestations they should call an exterminator. I am next to part of the undeveloped area and havent had any problems except for needing to put down some herbicide. Still waiting for developer to build pool and take care of undeveloped land (weeds, weeds, weeds). Houses okay - would be happier if the weeds were taken care of (snakes, etc. getting in people's yards and close to homes) Be prepared for kids on four-wheelers speeding through the neighborhood, despite it being illegal to ride on residential streets, day and night. Hard if you have a young child that goes to sleep early. Very loud and dangerous if you have young ones trying to stay out of their way. Developer is not from KC a... read more
