Was visiting my father-in-law and witnessed a patients son begging for toilet paper. He said his mom asked for it 15 hours earlier and still didn’t have any. The employee was not very sympathetic and instead said she’d put another call in to housekeeping and that she had no access to the toilet paper. I felt for this man and his mother. Absolutely ridiculous. If you have to be at this facility make sure you have a lot of family in your corner to advocate for you!

I was a patient at the New Castle Rehabilitation Center. They were wonderful! After 2 weeks they were able to take me from a wheelchair to using a walker and returning to my home, but not before providing for home care PT, OT, and a visiting nurse. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I saw major progress each day as I healed. The concern along with all of the insight they shared made it possible for me to return home successfully.

I was recently admitted to Newcastle following major back surgery. It started with a nurse and 2 aides arguing over who would have to deal with me since they already felt overworked. I was taken to my room and didn’t see a medical person for 2 hours. I requested my pain medication from 4-5 workers throughout the night and was told they would check into it. I finally got some 15 hours after arriving. I was told by the morning nurse that my requests had never been charted. I needed help from at least 2 people to get to the bat... read more

These reviews are fake. This is the most poorly managed and dangerous facility I have ever seen. Not the worst but certainly on the last rung of the ladder ! It doesn't even deserve the one star it took to post this review
