Have not had a chance to get there since Howard's Grotto sold, but tonight I finally did, and the Steak dinner I had "Filet" was cooked perfectly, as were the side dishes. The very friendly accommodating bartender shook up the perfect Vodka Martini, and Manhattan, better than most high end Steak Houses I have been to in major cities. I really appreciated that the TV's weren't blaring loud like at Howards, made dining in the Bar very relaxing. Great food, one of the best places to go sit and eat on that side of the lake! Gon the manager is very good and friendly! Highly recommended this place if you’re in Clearlake
Was really looking forward to this place after hearing people talk it up. The burger was fine, nothing special for the price, but the fries were cold and I had to ask twice to get a redo on them. Service was more forgetful than rude, but they NEVER checked on us once after the food dropped which just killed the whole vibe. Then waiting TEN minutes at the register just to pay while the bartender chatted with regulars. I wont be going back, its just not worth the hassle when there are other spots on the same street.
Husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and had an excellent experience all around. We had a wonderful ribeye with mushrooms and onions, baked potatoes and veggies and salad. When we finished our meal the waitress brought us cheesecake for us to share. There's nothing to complain about. Even the price was reasonable considering the cost of steak in a store. I highly recommend!!!!
