Dodgy and dirty business Arrogant and rude staff
It's been more than a month since checkout. But I still haven't got my deposit back. Staff were rude and unhelpful. They didn't accept debit master or Visa card. Only credit card was acceptable for check-in. Otherwise, I had to pay $200 by e-transfer which I did and the payment was under the name cleaning fee. They agreed to refund but still hasn't done it using all excuses and nonsense to confuse me. Pls advise where I can report this matter.
Dodgy dodgy place never go here please for your own sake disgusting rooms and never got deposit back plus (I think they hacked my bank account and used my card)
Dodgy, unsafe, scam. I booked this accommodation on Booking dot com thinking it would be a nice room in a good location. Instead it appeared to be a scam. After booking we were asked to sign into Highlanders "portal" on an external website which, after putting in my personal details did not work. I was then asked to complete the details the portal would have requested via email. This included photos of my drivers licence and the front and back of my credit card (a huge security risk). Great location, Good affordable and very spacey apartment. The service could be more professional and fast response but the apartment is quite nice.
