Usually, I dont post comments, but I feel I wont be able to sleep until I post this one, you will see why. The staff at this shop was very nice, fast, knowledgeable and helpful. Five years ago I bought a Simplicity sewing machine. I got frustrated trying to use the automatic needle threader and positioning the needle in the center. His in depth knowledge really helped me! This is a small shop on Bardstown Road in the Highlands. I first went to them with my sewing machine for repair and have returned to purchase a vac and an air purifier. I love this guy. He explained everything and was extremely helpful finding what I needed. I will be back and highly recommend his products. I am extremely pleased and have referred my neighbors as well.

Of any product I have ever bought, and of any customer service I have ever received, my Simplicity vacuum and the service I receive from Ray at Highland VacnSew (the tiny shop near Heine Brothers on Eastern Pkwy) are of outstanding quality. I know I'm going to sound like a commercial, but this vacuum is, simply, AMAZING. I didn't think a vacuum could be amazing. This is a small store in the Highlands that will service what they sell.....I have purchased a Simplicity vacuum and one I Q Air purifier and I am very pleased with both. I first went there looking for filters for a vacuum that I purchased at a Big Box Store. The Highland's store did not have these hard- to- find filters in stock but they were more than happy to get them for me..the owner, Mr. McDonald, even gave me a Simplicity vacuum to use while I waited for my filters to come in....I decided to buy the Simplicity Vacuum ... read more

small local business Service is great, the person who helped me was very helpful. I went to this small shop looking for sewing machine parts. I was able to find exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this place. I fully support small local business on Bardstown Road.

I took my mothers Singer featherweight sewing machine in for service they did a good job on the service...they know sewing machines...He also let me sew on one of the new Necchi sewing machines and I decided to put it on layaway I will pick up later..
