River Road in Wilmington, NC from Saunders Rd to Carolina Beach. Today, Monday October 26th at 9:00 AM, they were ripping up the solid white line (biking line) with a convoy of 6 trucks without a flagman for people to safely pass. I'm not sure who's running the show with the crew that is working on River road in Wilmington, North Carolina, but it is the worst display of traffic control and planning I've ever seen from a road crew. I'm not sure who decided it would be a good idea to start work during the 8:00 Rush hour in front of a school system where there's an elementary, middle, and high school all in the same area. Where to begin? Repaving River Road between Sanders and Carolina Beach has been a nightmare. Each step has taken weeks longer than it would anywhere else. Over a week to paint lines? Starting at one place, working on another random place. ZERO notice to residents of when anything is happening.
