The new management team is very grumpy Package room is a maze where I have to spend hours finding packages. Furniture is thrown in parking lots. Common lights across several building are out and I can’t see stairs in the night. Someone needs to sue them for hazardous conditions
Big thanks to Alexius for making our move-in so easy! As college students without our cosigner parents present, we really appreciated how flexible and helpful the team was—especially with coordinating a summer move-in while we were away. The apartment is nicely renovated and the whole process was smooth from start to finish!
When I first moved into Decatur Highlands, the old management was honestly not it..... barely responsive and hard to deal with. Since the new team took over, things have been so much better. I’m glad they kept Alexius she’s super helpful, responsive, and really makes a difference. The courtesy officer still never replies, but I love my apartment and I’m glad I stayed!
Had a few hiccups early on with the move-in, but Alexius was great at smoothing things out. Once she was on it, things moved way quicker. Grateful for how she stayed on top of everything and kept me updated!
Living at Decatur Highlands has been a truly awful experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Bugs constantly get into my first-floor apartment, and despite repeated complaints, nothing meaningful has been done to address it. The management here is lazy, disorganized, and completely inefficient. The gym is another disaster—it's consistently over 80 degrees, even though the A/C is supposedly set much lower.
