Our initial home-buying experience was, what we thought, going to be incredible but our post move-in has been quite a pain. Many of the issues that were called out during our inspection were not completed on time + additional issues were found during our day-to-day living. During a recent kitchen upgrade, we removed an upper cabinet to discover a hidden LIVE receptacle. They would've had to hide this in order to pass inspection. How low and unethical can you get? Evidently, Highland goes there, no matter how low.
We bought our Highland Home in August of last year. Overall great experience from start to finish and continues to be a great experience. Seriously, I've never experienced a builder that was so good at taking care of customers. Their construction manager Eric has been incredibly thorough and always willing to help us. Even 7 months after the sale, he is still taking care of us with our warranty items. To say we really appreciate it feels understated.
