We closed on our home in October 2024. Avery was amazing and deserves every bit of her praise. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t be happier. BUT then came the problems. First our restroom was leaking for weeks and after 3 failed attempts highland finally sent someone competent enough to fix the job on the 4th attempt. We would NOT recommend Highland Homes in Six Creeks. Our experience has been incredibly disappointing, and we believe there are much better options for home buyers in this community. Since moving in mid-December, we've faced three major issues that highlight the lack of quality in their work. First, our washer was installed improperly, causing a flood in our home during our first load of laundry. This resulted in damaged flooring and sheetrock that needed replacement. Avery and Henry were an amazing team! They ensured our house was built and customized on an aggressive 4-month schedule. We know it wasn't easy, but they both kept us updated and informed throughout the entire process. Working with Highland Homes has been nothing but an amazing experience. We moved to 6 creeks and built our house with the specifications that we wanted. We looked at a few other model homes in the area but Highland was the obvious choice. Our builder is very nice and is always willing to help with minor issues. Avery has been a blessing through the entire process. She is readily available to help with any situation we bring up and answers questions quickly.
We just closed on and moved into our new Highland home in 6 creeks. It’s a spec home that feels super custom, with really unique and classy finishes. And the whole Highland team has been amazing from the very first showing. On move in day, we had a minor issue with our electricity in our laundry room, so we texted Whitaker, the home builder.
