Our group of 20 ( 10 motorcycles) did a tour Of New England back in 2010. We discovered " Highland Foods, Maple Pepper" when the smell of corn being cooked on an open grill caught our attention!!!! A real mouth watering smell. We stopped to grab a few ears and they offered us this wonderful spice to try. We were all flabbergasted by the intense yet easy on the taste buds flavorable combo. Happy New Year Maple Pepper®! What a wonderful surprise to receive the Highland Foods sampler New England salt cod box in memory of the Macmillan's lovely mother and our aunt, Jeanne Macmillan Morse. So many fond memories of Jeanne and Sandy and Fez and Alec and Laurie (both dearly departed), Cameron, Alison, Jamie, Annie and Lucy. I started having maple pepper at my sister’s house before it was commercially available and I have to say I use it on everything! Soups, poultry, fish, and meat. It’s a staple in my house and there’s no substitute! My favorites are the garlic and original MP and the habanero has a kick that spices up any soup!
