Love coming back to the place I lived and graduated
Very friendly and affordable country fun. We really enjoyed the live music, the food, the livestock auction, and the tractor pull. The fair is located around the corner from downtown Monterey, and Highland is a beautiful place to visit any time of the year. Route 220 goes through some amazing countryside, so the trip alone is worth it. The local volunteers are very welcoming and helpful.
