I had a very positive experience of surgery on my tennis elbow issue at Highgate hospital. This was mostly because of the skills of my consultant, Mr Domos and nurse Maddy Portugal. The latter provided very warm care and was always clear with her instructions and support.

Very happy with my op. and care pre and post op. The hospital is very welcoming and I enjoyed my brief stay! Great food :) Honestly, I expected my toe to be fully flat on the ground once recovered and have adjusted my expectations. I am pain free though and very thankful. My surgeon was really helpful and did take time explaining a lot of things pre-op. Without exception, the staff were professional and courteous. Reception has always been welcoming and friendly. The surgeon Mr Peter Domos was respectful, understood anxieties, answered question clearly. 27 weeks later, I can reach high shelves without pain so it was a successful replacement. His warm and encouraging manner helped me before I went to theatre. I found the anaesthetist brusque and almost disinterested when she visited me before the surgery.
