Low quality food, and worse drinks. We were not served what we ordered.
My husband and I had our honeymoon here in 2013 and had the best meal of our lives! We were so excited to come back after 13 years and have the same experience! Unfortunately, this might be the worst choice in the area now. It was terrible food and terrible service. They’ve updated their look of the place and it’s beautiful but the quality is a nightmare when it used to be an absolute gem!!!
Awesome old New England resort with great views of the surrounding mountains. Dining on the veranda is very pleasant. Food was good, my braised short rib seemed a little dry but the flavor was good.
Unfortunately the food just wasn't very good, which is a shame because the service was good and the atmosphere was comfortable. We got the French onion soup and lobster bisque to start. Onion soup was actually good, but the bisque wasn't what I'd call bisque; it had one small piece of lobster. (In fact the table next to us got the lobster ravioli and the cream sauce on it looked a lot like my bisque.) For entrees we got lamb shank and short rib.
