Moshe at Higher Physio is amazing! Can't sing his praises enough. He really listens, meets you where you are and creatively, diligently works to get you to a physical and mental state that is healthy, balanced and in my case has alleviated the chronic pain I was experiencing. He does his homework; researching options and newer therapies that are geared to my home for me to employ between visits. I trust him and look forward to my PT sessions.
Working with Moshe has been incredibly effective and fun. As a runner for almost a decade, I have a good deal of experience but a few mechanical deficiencies. Moshe has helped me correct old ones and also discover some new ones, such my limited ankle dorsiflexion. Our work has made things smoother up and down the chain. Since starting at Higher Physio PT, I've set a new half marathon PR (1:31:31) and completed my first 50-mile ultra marathon. It's been a great experience!
Maybe the are the best, I doubt it, the best is hospital for soecial surgery or Columbia orthopidic. But when one is asking for theraphy and has a doctor refferal they charge additional concierge fee monttly at the tune of $120 or $150 just gives a bad taste. so you pay a co-pay and thier fees and plus they collect money ftom insurance. unreal.
Higher Physio Physical Therapy is one of the Best treatments I have ever had. I had back surgery in January of 2024, and after trying different PT's, I finally discovered Higher Physio. Julie Zapata physical therapy truly helped my back get stronger and more sound. I highly recommend using their practice. For anyone living in Washington Heights, Inwood, or the Upper Westside, their therapy is worth the time and money. They truly know how to manage body recovery.
Julie was so kind and generous with her “discovery” consultation. Lovely office!
