This is a motel. Not a cute hipster updated motel. An old school motel six motel. Everything is cheap, from the terrible pillows and the non eco tiny bottles of everything and single use cups and cutlery to the scratchy sheets and noisy AC. The room smelled really musty too. I suspect other reviewers had a much better rate but we booked for over $400 a night and did not feel this place in any way merited that sum even in peak season. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean, comfortable, and well-maintained property. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive specially Adam from guest services. Although this was our first time staying at a 2-star hotel, Highbrook exceeded our expectations and just as good if not better than some higher-rated hotels we’ve experienced. Motel che merita tutte le cinque stelle. Accoglienza ottima da parte del proprietario, che ci ha dato consigli utili per andare in centro a Bar Harbor con mezzi pubblici, gratuiti, che passano molto vicino al motel (sia andata che ritorno). Comodo il parcheggio davanti al proprio alloggio. Camera spaziosa e pulita, dotata di vari utili accessori (per esempio, macchina per fare il caffè).
