Washington Heights gem. The High Bridge alone is worth the trip—oldest bridge in NYC, car-free, connects to the Bronx with great river views. Trails feel like actual woods, not just park. Pool is Olympic-sized, deep end is no joke. Some parts feel isolated, better with a buddy. Graffiti under the Washington Bridge is cool if you find it. Crusty in spots but that's the charm.
