They suck and take forever
I am using Highborn for my new build custom home. The cabinet budget was in excess of six figures and I was happy to pay this because of the quality of the cabinets and the full service design process. I was very pleased with the design process and felt all of my needs were by Ryan Vink, who did a great job and even made several suggestions that my wife and I would have otherwise overlooked. Great cabinets, don't know what's up with these reviews.
Most miserable cabinet install experience ever on a high end custom home. Not responsive. Did not show up as promised and when they did they worked an hour or two and left when there was plenty to be done. Poor quality cabinetry with band aid hack repairs. Run as far from them as you can.
Do not use Highborn. Our designer recommended us to them back in June (when our other cabinet person said they wouldn’t be able to get us in until mid october) and it’s been a huge mistake. We paid our initial deposit June 15. We had our design meeting July 19. We were told they’d be done in 6-8 weeks. It is now November 18th and there is still a lot of remaining work to be done.
