Lindsey was an amazing bartender and tour guide for our little trio. There was a lot of amazing information about the company and distillation process. I highly recommend taking a tour and giving their spirits a shot! No, this is not a paid review!!
Fried Chicken Sliders are amazing sliders!!! JImmy Red Cornbread is a must!!! Have to try the Dramatic Fashion (Jimmy Red Bourbon Finished in Peach Brandy Casks, Southern Amaro, Mint, Lemon, Club Soda) and rhe Old Fashion with the Benton's Smoked Bourbon is by far the best!
Visited High Wire on a recent visit to Charleston. What a great find right in the heart of the city. Jimmy Red corn is used to make their flagship bourbon. They have a small tasting room that is very inviting. The service was nice. Shared two flights with the friend I was with. Enjoyed all the bourbons we tasted and took a couple of bottles home. Very much worth a visit.
From well crafted cocktails with local made premium spirits to the excellent service Katie and her crew provides, you will be satisfied and happy you went here. We love the big open cozy space. It's ideal for any size party and with Rodney Scott's and Pincho Taco close by, you won't have to go far for great food. If you're local, this should be a staple. If you're visiting, don't miss the opportunity. I promise you'll appreciate all aspects of this distillery.
Was gifted this from some really great relatives that happened to be down there visiting. They brought me this while down there. Very cool gift with a tasting mat to enjoy and learn with friends. Made with Jimmy Red corn that is native to the area.
