Lead/sole mechanic cannot be trusted. Last year, I brought my car in for inspection and was told I needed a tie rod replaced - brought it up the road for a second opinion and they found nothing wrong with it. Fast forward to last month, I was told I needed new front break pads and rotors for both tires! - brought it up the road for a second option and that was not needed to pass inspection. He will try to overcharge you and recommend things that aren't needed.

For years, I've been going to High Tech Auto for state inspections and recently for mechanical and other issues on a couple of vehicles. I have consistently found Cas and his staff to be highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and most responsive. In addition, they have been very friendly and client oriented. I wholeheartedly recommend Cas and High Tech Auto.

Have had a few good experiences here. Most recently, I was in a rush and did a really stupid thing and put over a gallon of diesel in my prius. I looked it up and found that the smart thing would be to drain the fuel tank. They got it done same afternoon for a reasonable price and I've had no trouble with the car since. Worth every penny.

STOP! Detour! U-Turn! Shop around (Bangor if you have to), it'll save you money and a lot of hassle. Thankfully all of their mechanics quit, that should tell you something, and it forced me to find someone else. Thank God! The new guy fixed everything they quoted plus some for the price of 1 (One) of the items they listed! I saved over $1,200. Go somewhere else.
