I do not recommend this place at all... I went in for a check engine light paid over $1000.00 to get it fix. When I left the car was ok, but then the next day the same problem occurred. When I called they said it will be ok just drive it around and the problem will stop and the check engine light will go away. Here I am 6 months later and my car is worse off then it was before and now I'm also out over $1000.00. Now I have to come up with the money yet again and get it fixed the right way some where else. Rusty is a very nice and professional man. Service was lot better than Ford. Everyone at High Sierra treated me with respect and didnt talk to me like im a dumb@$$. I would highly recommend High Sierra Auto for your vehicle needs.
I always take my car here and they always are great. They do great work and also they are very nice. And ladies if you are looking for cute mechanics they have some here (
They have always treated me well and they will advise you NOT to get expensive repairs if it won't improve safety and will do nothing to increase the value of your car. The dashboard on my car started giving distance in KM, but, the speedometer was still giving good values in MPH so they told me not to waist $700 on something that is only cosmetically annoying. They are my first choice in Ridgecrest for repairs.
There mechanic skills are great, and they are some what fast, but the customer service is horrible, they seem to have a lady in the front that is very rude and bossy, I think i will just take my money and car else where. There prices are a little over the normal. $500+ to replace a radiator, when everyone else in town charges around $300 - $365. Sorry, but i will just go down the street and save a little and still get a warranty. Oh, and lose that rude lady already.
