I just entered the market for a smart telescope. I know a little about the optical kind, but nothing about smart telescopes. High Point Scientific did a wonderful job of guiding me through designs, technology, and choices. They were responsive and answered all my questions promptly and efficiently. Their website is easy to navigate and use. Great product tutorials. I would highly recommend them for any kind of space viewing gear and accessories.
To have a customer experience manager call within minutes of a less than satisfactory encounter with another representative for customer support was so unusual and so above and beyond what I have come to expect nowadays that I felt compelled to give Highpoint a 5 star rating. High Point Scientific is AWESOME!!! I had bought a ZWO camera and a Sky Watcher mount like 2 or 3 years prior but it took me AWHILE to get my whole setup actually put together. Don't Trust Their Backorder Process!! Placed order for 3 items on Feb 23rd 2025, one of the items was backordered which was not an issue, the website clearly said that the backordered item would ship when back in stock. Two of my items arrived at my home within just a few days and the backordered item was supposed to ship in about 2 weeks.
