Spoke with Kurt regarding a large purchase I was going to make investing in a William Optics UltraCat. I had bought a telescope mount (equatorial gogo with WiFi) from High Point Scientific and had trouble integrating it with my favorite planetarium (the marvelous free software Stellarium). Although it was not their problem, the good folks of the support dept walked me through the procedures. Excellent support has become so rare, it is worth writing this review.
These guys are awesome! I am new in the hobby and attempted to do thorough homework, but...I had many questions and over a 3 day period spoke by email with several highpoint professionals who directed me to the many answers I needed. Some were answered with simple responses that were direct and to the point, that was all that was needed. I spent a little time investigating purchase. I was extremely pleased when I settled on purchase with HighPoint. Very informative group of folks. Answered all my questions and very helpful.
