High Point Scientific has my respect and admiration. They have great customer service reps who are not there to SELL you something but they are actually there to work with you. This will always be my first place to look for any of my astronomical needs. I trust them and HAVE recommended them and will continue to recommend them to all of my astronomical co parts. I just can not say enough good thing about High Point Scientific. Do yourself a favor. Start with them and you will stay with them.
I have bought several items from High Point over the last few years and for the first time ended up with a problem. I don't want to be too specific but it involved a telescope case Trying to reconstruct the problem, shipping company issues and even my own lack of thoroughness probably contributed. I have bought lots of astronomy equipment from High Point Scientific over the past 8 years, always with excellent quality and support. I was having a problem charging a power bank I bought 3 years ago and contacted High Point. Andrew pin-pointed the problem as the charger as I had inadvertently switched chargers. I obtained the correct charger ... charged overnight ... full charge ... problem solved! Thank you, Andrew and High Point.
