I got into astronomy late in life and was so blessed to find High Point Scientific early on. I was reading reviews about the best bang for your buck in telescopes and learned about GSO and the quality of their optics for the price. GSO is sold as Apertura in the U.S. and High Point Scientific is more or less the only place to buy the brand. They sold me my first "real" telescope and I've gone back to them ever since. I ordered a Celestron Origin telescope late one evening. A day and a half later, it was in my home and fully assembled. This is fantastic service! My emails with the staff have been quickly answered and I am confident any concerns I might have would be quickly and competently addressed. High Point has a customer for life!
purchased a 10" Dobsonian which arrived on time and well packaged for protection. It was easy to setup. I had a few questions and I have to say I have never had a company reply to my email questions by calling me back within the hour. Outstanding.
