I contacted High Point Scientific about a problem I encountered when using a new Celestron C8 telescope. I was having an issue with getting it to focus. I thought I had analyzed the problem in detail before calling for assistance. The person I talked to gave me some additional checks to do and explained how the telescope worked. Fantastic customer service. David Grant very patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions about the soon-to-be released SeeStar S30 Pro. Since I have no real experience in astrophotography, but have watched quite a few videos, I knew enough to have a LOT of questions. He really held my hand through the process and helped me prioritize which things to buy with my initial purchase to have the best chance of quick success in this new hobby.
I've been a customer of High Point Scientific for many years and I have nothing but good to say about them!! I recently ran into a problem with a bit of kit and Andrew K. promptly took ownership and "made it right." They not only have great prices, but offer great customer service, knowledgeable advice, and a have a vast selection of in stock and often hard to find support items. I recommend High Point Scientific for anyone purchasing a telescope or other items offered by them. Patrick Sutton provided above and beyond customer service when I needed help with my telescope, which arrived damaged from transit. Within a few steps, Patrick advised me of the steps to take in order to have a replacement shipped.
