DO NOT bring your family members or loved ones to this hospital! Been waiting for over 7 hours at this point and has not yet been seen by the nurse of the doctor. They keep calling you back for registration, and blood work. But never was seen by anybody. My dad came in for shortness of breath, chest pain, blurry vision and extreme fatigue. And he is a diabetic. And they only took his vitals, blood work to check for his troponin twice. And that was it. No other medical care was received.

Wow, this ER is just absolutely terrible. Entering felt like entering a prison, security is fair enough but that is the first time I've ever been searched going to an ER. The staff is nice enough but clearly overworked. They saw us quickly at first, but then they moved us to what can best be referred to as a "holding cell" with several other patients. If I could give zero stars I would please never ever take your kids here the wait is always 3+ hours. 0/10 !

Please go somewhere else for your health's sake. I was left in the ER waiting room for four hours, despite being sent there by my primary care doctor for emergency surgery, as they kept prioritizing other patients (some were seen and left while I was still waiting; clearly not higher acuity). Never received help (other than having blood drawn) so finally left and was sent to Cone Health ER in High Point the next morning by my doc. The male nurse in triage with a Mullet was the only person who cared for my vomiting wife. Good for him his shift changed. We are going on 4 hours in the waiting room. Everyone else here came after us. We are still not being seen. "You're next" the admin said. That was 45 minutes ago. Glad we dont live here. Shame.
