High Point Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Company is reliable and fast when it comes to fridge repairs. They responded quickly and had our commercial fridge up and running in no time. The technicians clearly know their stuff and work efficiently. However, the cost is on the high side — repairs typically range from $500 to $800 per visit, which can be close to 80% of the cost of a new fridge. Unless it’s an urgent situation, it might make more financial sense to invest in a replacement instead of going through a repair.

I spoked with Joshua (owner/supervisor). His technician serviced my walk in cooler for the last two visits. I had my new unit put in 2020 by another company and the compressor failed just recently due to the company’s negligence. It was still under warranty but now is not because their work void the warranty. It cost me about $2300 to replace the compressor. I’m beyond irate. They said the service work would only warranty for 30 days. But I know anything can work beyond the 30 days and fail later because it’s not compatible.... read more

After 30 days & close to 5K - we are still waiting on completion of 2 work orders/projects. Communication with this company is less than poor. No updates. Calls are not returned. My only recourse is to begin legal proceedings for reimbursement of our monies. -Chef Timothy Grandinetti, Winston-Salem
