I am an owner of High Dunes Resort owning two weeks. One in April and one in July. I have been extremely proud of this resort since I bought it the first week it existed back in 1985. My family and I have cherished our time here through the years and have said that owning a time share condo isn't as bad as people claim..... We love it here... Until my stay this year. It is good value for the money. It is small compared to some Outer Banks rentals/timeshares but it sleeps six (more on the floor). It is cozy with an open floor plan. Electric fireplace. And two porches, one screened and one open. Though directly on the beach, the 100 numbered units cannot see the ocean but overlook the pool area due to growing sand dune. We had an issue with our Airbnb booking and the staff at High Dunes resort were able to take care of it quickly and easily. They were very polite and accommodating. We are so thankful to them for making our stay comfortable and pleasant.
