I began my mushroom-growing hobby using online suppliers with minimal support and finding High Desert Spores has been a revelation. Their products are fairly priced and often cheaper than online suppliers, and i have had significantly more growing success using their substrates and grain bags. They have also provided me plenty of tips that have improved my growing processes, and they’re always eager to help beginners and encourage the hobby. It’s awesome to have such a great place to go to discuss mushrooms!
Super friendly and knowledgable staff. They can basically answer any question you have and they go the extra mile to help you have a great experience. I wish all retail experiences were like this!
Friendly and knowledgable staff. They make you feel welcomed and at ease. They have great products that are hard to find anywhere else locally. They even have community classes, teaching people about mushroom cultivation and related topics. I love this place.
