I would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT waste your time with this company. My Mom was given orders from our hospital to go on Hospice care. That hospital recommended High Desert Hospice, so I thought I'd go with their suggestion. The Community Liason, Gigi, did an evaluation on my Mom at the hospital and said she "didn't see the need for hospice" and instead, would put her on palliative care. I said ok. Really feel let down by this practice. I have multiple chronic illnesses that are progressive, only reason i leave my house is to go to doctors (dont know who does telehealth) or id stay home. Im in constant pain, from autoimmune disorders, cidp, falls, end stage osteoarthritis, neuropathy.i fall often, at first they accepted me happily! I love Melissa! My mother fell and broke her back under their care they let my mother lay there for 7 weeks with a broken back promising an xray machine that never came then panicked when they realized it was broken and refused to help do anything else

Do not choose this place because they constantly keep you waiting. They have very bad communication skills; one nurse will say one thing, another nurse will say something totally different. I was very disappointed with their service.

I have nothing but high praise for my Las Cruces Palliative Care Team: liaison - Gigi, RN - Kristen and Dr. Jaime Sanchez. I am blessed to have them on my side.
