A great local shop! We took a very special watercolor in for framing and Stephen gave us excellent advice on preserving what will certainly become a family treasure. I had an unusual project request and was turned down by several other places in town. I came to High Desert with low expectations and was thrilled to meet Stephen who took the time to understand my project, and committed to making it right. Not only was it done flawlessly, Stephen accomplished it in less than 24hrs. I have no hesitation in recommending High Desert to friends and family. Andy and I have had many pieces framed by High Desert, including origami tessellations folded by Andy and commercial art we've bought and drawings from a friend. In each case the results have been gorgeous. Stephen takes the time to find colors which really bring out the pictures, even when the picture is a line drawing of black and white.
