Terrible customer service! My disabled Dad on medicare and Medicaid called when he made the appointment to verify they took his insurance and when he showed up, they DENIED him because he didn't have his card. Medicaid will not issue my Dad a card and when I looked it up, they can verify it by his Social Security number!! Terrible service!!!
I have edited my original review, and lowered the rating from two stars to one. This company placed a hold on my insurance, which didn't let me go to another optometrist. That's right- that wouldn't take my insurance, and also wouldn't let me take it somewhere else. They also did not release the insurance when asked to; insurance had to be contacted directly. I set up an appointment online, was told they would accept my insurance. 30 minutes before the appointment, I get a voicemail telling me they will no longer accept my insurance. I had already driven downtown and paid for parking by this point. Pulling the rug this late feels scummy: they either a) don't know how insurance works, or b) were hoping to rip me off by making me pay out of pocket at the last second.
