I have edited my original review, and lowered the rating from two stars to one. This company placed a hold on my insurance, which didn't let me go to another optometrist. That's right- that wouldn't take my insurance, and also wouldn't let me take it somewhere else. They also did not release the insurance when asked to; insurance had to be contacted directly. I set up an appointment online, was told they would accept my insurance. 30 minutes before the appointment, I get a voicemail telling me they will no longer accept my insurance. I had already driven downtown and paid for parking by this point. Pulling the rug this late feels scummy: they either a) don't know how insurance works, or b) were hoping to rip me off by making me pay out of pocket at the last second. Talked in the phone said appointment was at 11:15 showed up told them it was 11:15 they told me to sit down and wait around 11:10 someone came in said they had a appointment at 11:15 so I went up and asked they told me my appointment was at 11:45 even though I talked with them on phone and confirmed in person it was at 11:15 had me waiting over a hour and 2 people I showed up before went ahead of me!
