Amazing location - truly majestic surroundings. Rain Forrest at the back door. In 3 day stay we saw rosellas, kookaburras, blue wrens, and rabbits hang out on the lawn. Views are great. Cottage itself is comfortable, rustic and charmingly decorated. Insulated well. Great for family with younger children wanting to spend time together. Cupboard full of games and books, things to do. Is a little expensive for us but was worth the experience. Loved it.
We were looking for a place to unwind, relax and remove ourselves from the technology in our lives. Hideaway Cottage delivered this in spades! Being able to relax in front of the fire or walk around the property and enjoy nature in all its simplistic glory is something incredibly under-rated. The property is equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, speaking of which I wish ours had been longer! We will definitely be coming back!
Charge us 50% deposit even when VIC in lockdown and we can not travel based on government’s advice. Talked to both the owner and Airbnb, the owner refused to issue refund. Very disappointed.
Great experience. Helpful staff. Loved everyone minute of the stay!
