A nice surprise. What a welcome surprise in Marathon. A nice restaurant. A nice quiet place to go where good conversations with the locals can be found. The food and the view are equally awesome. The duck is really good and of course the catch of the day.

Dinner at the Hideaway Cafe. HIGHEST recommendation. Robert (owner) went out of his way to make us feel at home - opening just for us for a special dinner. We were so incredibly humbled and honored. Freda (chef) is the absolute BEST on the whole island. The shrimp bisque, hogfish, duck, steak, wine, lava cake, cheesecake oh my!!! — with Don Kinnett.
BEST cuisine and most elegant dinning experience in the Keys by far. Truly a hidden gem !!!❤

The shrimp bisque was the best I’ve ever had as was the bacon wrapped shrimp. Service was outstanding and we’re really looking forward to the next visit.
