Enjoyed the staff, restaurant and lodging. Peaceful get away - surprised by the amount of train traffic.

I don’t know about the rooms; but the atmosphere of the entire place is gorgeous…. Now, as far as the restaurant goes, the food sucks, the service stinks, and nobody of authority really cares. In the three hour period of time we were there last June, we barely managed to get one appetizer and only one round of drinks. We were not locals and were treated poorly. We had an amazing stay at this resort just south of Buffalo on Lake Erie and couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our trip. The location was perfect—we skied at both Kissing Bridge and Holiday Valley, attended a Buffalo Bills game, and visited Niagara Falls, all while enjoying the charm of the surrounding area.
