We stayed at the Hidden Villa Motel and really enjoyed the location — it’s very close to the beach and tucked into a quaint little neighborhood. Unfortunately, the #3 cabin itself left a lot to be desired. It had an eerie feeling right from the start, and it doesn’t seem like much (if any) money has been put back into maintaining it. An absolute joke. I booked this hotel in off season for the good price and location. Initially, when we checked in, we didn’t really go look around because we were so tired and hungry and got in late. The futon was ripped up and stitched back up in a very cheap looking fashion, which was a little concerning, but I brushed it off. Fast forward my boyfriend goes and takes a shower comes out and tells me there’s still soap and other bathroom products from the previous tenants in the shower. Haven't actually checked in yet because they won't let us until 4. I was told we would be able to check in early. I have a crying toddler, two antsy dogs, and a car full of perishable foods with no place to go. We've been waiting for an hour already hoping they would have had the room ready. Considering check out is at 10am, that doesn't seem unreasonable.
