Great spot for a Picnic, there are shaded tables which is ideal if you want a break from the sun. Toilets available nearby and plenty of parking. Would recommend this spot for families or anyone with accessibility requirements.

Warto się wybrać, nawet nie po to żeby piknikować, ale zobaczyć skałę Floating Boulder - to iglice, na których wspiera się idealna połowa kuli. Polecam też spacer na równinę za Picnic Area, żeby podziwiać okazy , duże i małe, Joshua Tree.

Went Camping this weekend and had an opportunity to visit Joshua Tree. Despite the beauty of these photos it was absolutely miserable trying to capture them. It was very cold and the wind chill did not help. I got wind burn on my face, and I couldn't feel my hand while we out there. We were definitely not prepared for the weather!! However, I am very proud of these photos and can't wait to get out there again for another adventure.

Took a trip here with a big group and it was great. Great scenery and great views of the Joshua Trees. The hiking trails in this area are for all levels of people. The picnic tables were clean and the restrooms were fine. I recommend stopping at this area if you are traveling through the National Park.
