It never ceases to astound me how little they care about the people who choose to live here. They make arbitrary decisions without any care or concerns about how they affect the people that choose to live there. Recently, they decided to change their menu system. I have near perfect 20/20 vision, yet I am unable to read the menus that they put out for the seniors. This is a wonderful independent living facility. My mother moved into a brand new room in 1989 and loved living here. Unfortunately, after a fall, she required more care so she needed to move elsewhere, but she LOVED Hidden Lakes. My brother and his wife have lived here for the last 4 years and unfortunately she recently passed away. I came from out of state for the memorial and the staff graciously offered a guest appartment to rent during my stay. My parents have lived at Hidden Lakes for the past four years and have loved it! Between, the super friendly staff, great neighbors, activities, gorgeous setting, and location it's been a wonderful place for them to live in their late 80's. They really have become a part of the community and feel very supported. However, just 6 weeks ago my mother unfortunately passed away. Called to get more info on this place for my mother. Staff was super helpful and they got me in right away for a tour and invited us to have lunch with them. Once we arrived to Hidden Lakes the staff made my mom feel at home. Ruth who gave us the tour showed us the beautiful lake and the community.
