Today was our 10th anniversary and we rented a fishing boat for the day. Unfortunately the boat was not running properly. Bobby Davis upgraded us to a pontoon AND refunded the boat rental! We appreciated this so much. We would have been perfectly happy with just getting a different boat! Once we returned, Bobby met us again with an apology and wished us a happy anniversary. What an amazing experience!
4th year. Love going camping there. Water is nice not muddy. Stor has restaurant and bar options.
Fantastic experience renting a pontoon for a day on the lake! First, they were flexible in helping me reschedule my date when we had something unexpected come up. Next, very reasonable rates compared to other locations. Most importantly, a safe, well maintained dock and boat. They took time to give an orientation before we took off for the day, which helped a great deal. We will certainly look to do this again sometime at Hidden Harbor! Everyone had a blast!
The below was a HHM review I did some 12 years ago, and I stand by this review (FOR THAT POINT IN TIME). It is NOT indicative of an experience I had this week, however! The topic of this review is the misleading advertising (and inconsistent pricing) of the quality of their fishing boat. We had an absolutely fantastic experience renting a 20-foot Hurricane deck boat from Hidden Harbor Marina! Our group of six (four adults and two kids) arrived around 9:30 a.m., and the owner had us on the water in no time. As first-time renters on Center Hill Lake, we appreciated how patient, friendly, and professional he and the entire staff were. They made the whole process easy and stress-free.
