We stayed here over spring break and loved it. During spring break, the HOA won’t allow rentals to under 25. This results in families and retirees and not the party atmosphere you might see elsewhere. They have tennis courts and pickleball courts. The pickleball courts have open play in the morning. The people we played with were all friendly and courteous players. We were near the pickleball courts and it was a seven minute walk to the beach. The "head of security" at Hidden Dunes, Hugh (or whatever his name is), is hands down the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. I arrived to check in with my sister—I’m 27 (well over the 25+ requirement), and she’s 24—yet we were refused entry. Nowhere on the Hidden Dunes COA website or in any of the information I received were these so-called 'Spring Break rules' that he showed, yet he still demanded that we leave the property.
