The buffalo chicken wrap was very small and barely had any chicken and items in it. For the price, it was underwhelming. The side item was also small and disappointing. The portion sizes for entree and sides are a joke.
Jeannette was a terrific server. She was patient with taking our order and checked back shortly after the food was served. She’s an asset to the Hickory Tavern.
Very very disappointed with the music that was good in selection, but much too loud. The waiter endeavored turn it down for which we appreciated this gesture. Later, an individual came quickly by the table to ask about our experience, but he did not value any words that we would have voiced… as his body language gave his “just tell me good things about my restaurant” There are many options to eat in south Charlotte, I will not be backs PS -the fish and chips/fries were spicy enough that it nearly burned my mouth. Jeanette was our server and was very personable and attentive. The food came out fast and was was cooked perfectly. It’s been a while since we visited HT, but this was a great experience and we definitely will be back soon. Great job.
