On Sep.3, 2026 @ 7:10 PM I decided I wanted some ribs for dinner. I only purchased the ribs for $22. Excited to indulge after I made it home only 10 minutes away I began to eat the ribs and found that over 50% of them were completely dried out. Harder than beef jerky. So disappointed after getting myself hyped up for something I rarely eat bcoz of the cost. I usually buy the brisket but I really wanted ribs this time.
First and foremost the seating was wonderful but the Food was cold the ribs were cold the barbecue beef was Luke warm the only thing that was hot was the bread because she grilled it all the while I’m look at her pick something off the bread when it’s done WOW it’s amazing how something are done around here UNEXPECTEABLE!!!!!!!!
Hickory Stick has great daily specials and a family atmosphere. When relatives come in town, we always get a family pack to celebrate the occasion.
Got the Friday special - chopped beef sandwich with 2 sides - baked beans and cole slaw was my choice. Baked beans were awesome! Chopped beef was delicious. Loved the cole slaw! I didn't care for the bbq sauce, too vinegar-y for my palate, as I prefer sweet bbq. Overall though everything was great and we will eat here again. ☺️
