Warning- Be careful dealing with Hickory Management. Keep all records of your money orders or checks when you deal with Hickory. Their office sometimes loses your rent money. Also they will try to pressure you into signing your lease early. Their previous owner wouldn't repair until the government showed up. They don't really care for their tenants. Honestly, if I could rate this lower than a 1, I would. Worst management company in the Kalamazoo area. Not only are they completely irresponsible with the money given, they are terrible with customer service. As a renter, several of my roommates over paid on a few months thinking we would pay less on a few months and they never returned the money when we over paid. Do not rent anything from this company! They will promise you everthing will be in good condition and kept up ! WRONG ! they cant keep a good maintenance staff. The owner will rip you off at every chance he can ! Go somewhere else to rent !!!
Beware - don't rent from Hickory! They will trump up charges for fake repairs, threaten lawsuits and refuse to substantiate charges against your security deposit (you will not get it back). There are plenty of places to rent - stay away from this place.
