HHPOA I can only give HHPOA a Satisfactory review. When we bought our Hickory Hills property we were pleased with the more hands off approach and much lower fees compared to other Pocono POAs. The bylaws were reasonable and everything seemed to be in order. That said, there have been open seats on the board every year that never get filled. It seems like some of those that are there don't really know what they're doing. But is the lack of experience and attendence the POA's fault or the community's? Hard to say. Hope you like stop signs If you like living in a virtual police state where the dues-paying homeowner has zero say, then this is the place for you. Especially very recently, this place has gone downhill, and surprisingly quickly. Nasty board members who can't mind their own business and stare you down whenever you walk or drive past them. Stop signs every 5 feet. The main road is littered with stop signs now; it's obnoxious. In the other 99.999% of the world, the smaller side roads get the stop signs, not the MAIN one.
