Great place for fitness. The gym has a wide variety of equipment, and the 24/7 access is a bonus. I've worked out at all the main fitness centers and gyms in the area, and Hickory Fitness is the perfect fit for me. The owner, Steve, is great and easy to contact. I highly recommend this place.
We have a workout program through work that offers free workouts. When I tried to visit the facility the owner turned me away and stated, “We don’t do that. We only make $2 per visit.”
Best gym in town. The best part is the 24/7 access, can come whatever time is convenient to me and I have access to quality equipment as well as great amenities like Sauna, Jacuzzi, and Steam room. The outdoor gym is also great. Definitely the best gym in Hickory.
Hickory Fitness has been an amazing place for someone new to the area! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. One thing I really appreciate is how seriously Steve takes security. Ensuring everyone brings their key card might seem like a small thing, but it adds a layer of safety and accountability that you just don’t find at many gyms anymore.
