ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND SO UNDER CARING OF THE PATIENTS. HUGE HIPPA VIOLATERS AND OVER MEDICATE THEIR PATIENTS !!! Where do I start? First, the staff is very unpleasant to deal with they do not show sympathy during the process at all! I called 4 times in regards to my loved one that was there to see what discharge would look like since they have a 72 hour hold on all patients. Hickory Behavioral was just the escape I needed to clear my head and discontinue getting in My own way. I stayed from 10-1-25 until 10-8-25 and the staff, Nurse Practitioner Laiken was straightforward as am I and also very compassionate with patients making sure anyone who needed to speak with her would be seen before she left. The RNs were top notch and explained the meds and effects accurately with kindness. A beautiful and clean facility with wonderful staff that truly care about helping patients. It is a tough but rewarding job….. seeing patients get on the right medication and get to go home doing soooo much better is amazing!!!
For years I was afraid to go into a place like this. But I am forever grateful that I did, i am so Optimistic since coming out and feel 1000 times better. The staff here was amazing and so friendly, doctor Sep was really great as well. They really tried to make it feel like home the best that they could. I’m really greatful for my experience here and I will never forget thier kindness. -Marykate 🩷
