In 2022, Mr. Hickman did a POA for my mother. My mother has now been diagnosed with dementia. I sent said POA to her mortgage company, and they denied it. I took the denial letter they sent to Mike’s office and left it with the front desk as Mike was in court. I stopped in a few days later to see if he had any information for me. Mike has helped me during my divorce case, and another case one right after the other. He is a personable, loving family man from what I’ve seen with my time with him. After paying my retainer communication was almost non-existent. Would take 5-7 business days to respond to my inquiries about my divorce. Would not recommend.
Our family has used him for 3 generations. I'm almost sure he doesn't care about anything but his initial payment anymore. He starts strong and never finishes. He will take any civil case, it's a mistake hiring him for civil or criminal. He will tell you about the murder case that he won 40 years ago to earn your trust. You're poorly representing my son and his child's mother. Retire.
