This rating is 100% due to the unreliability of their Mobile Deposit. They have too many requirements and restrictions. 1) They do not accept checks over $2,500 making it useless for VA disability checks, mortgage refund checks, earnest money, etc. 2) They do not accept government checks from the Treasury at all like IRS or VA checks. 3) You have to write “Hickam FCU Mobile Deposit Only” and the date of “deposit” on the check making it useless when they do accept the check. I've had no trouble with customer service but I've tried to go In twice during open work hours and they were closed both times. Make that 3 times. Online says Open and they're closed once again.

My previous experience with this CU when I was first stationed at Hickam AFB was a positive one. I never had any issues or real complaints. This review is for my present time now as I learned that I had an outstanding debt with the CU that was opened up 3 years ago and I was never notified of it. I contacted the CU to gain information but they said that because my account was already closed (as it has been since 2016), they could pull up no information and had gave me another number to call. 5 numbers and 2 debt collectors l... read more
